RICHARD REYNOLDS: Choosing a therapist is scary and an important choice in anyone’s life. Knowing who the “right” therapist for you is difficult at best. I chose this field due to people naturally gravitating towards me without solicitation to tell me their woes. CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are the main evidenced based therapies I utilize. In my career I have worked with severely mentally ill individuals in hospital settings ranging in ages 13 through 104. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I would appreciate the opportunity of seeing if we are a “fit” so we can begin our partnership and you can begin your journey back to health. And just in case you are wondering...I am a cat AND dog person.

KAITLYN EKART - ELIOT: I aim to create a safe environment where you are in charge of your treatment. As a therapist, I am here to help you navigate the treatment process with your goals at heart. Using person-centered therapy, EMDR, and art therapy, I hope to challenge you from a non-judgmental, trauma-informed framework to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. Art is a universal human language and yet, can also be interpreted differently by each viewer. Sometimes it's hard to find words for our unique feelings and experiences. Art therapy is a great way for teens and adults to explore creativity, mindfulness, anxiety, depression, and traumas without the pressure of making gallery-worthy art. If you're the person who thinks, "I can't even draw a stick figure!" I challenge you to come in and creatively explore your emotions and thoughts. You will never be forced to create artwork, but the option will always be there. I like to think of art therapy sessions on a spectrum, one session could look like all art-making and little discussion, while another may look like mostly talking and no art-making.
